Background
Microsoft wanted to better understand Creators and identify the potential business opportunities this audience creates for M365 product and business strategy. Using a combination of qualitative methods, online bulletin boards and in-depth interviews, I was able to inform Microsoft of Creator needs, types of content being created and outline natural clusters of Creator types. Findings from this research served as a reference for Microsoft to build a compelling and competitively differentiated value proposition for current and prospective users.
